RIP Baby Nate

A little back ground first- about 3 weeks ago I became aware of a family of a new EB baby up in the new England area.  I connected with them thru email and Facebook and even sent some of Joey's special diaper covers and gowns for baby Nate to try since he had a lot of skin involvement like Joey.  Last week they found out Nate had Junctional EB.  Friday he started to go downhill very quickly.  He got his wings Sunday morning:(  You can read about him here and leave your thoughts and prayer for his family in the guestbook.  Thank you to those that have already signed it.  I know it will mean a lot of his family.

I know I can't save them all, but it still hurts when I hear about losing another one.

This was one of the songs we played at Garrett's funeral.  I dedicate it tonight to Nate and all the EB Angels out there:

Go Rest High on that Mountain by Vince Gill

I know your life on earth was troubled
And only you could know the pain
You weren't afraid to face the Devil
You were no stranger to the rain

Go rest high on that mountain
Son your work on earth is done
Go to Heaven a shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son

Oh, how we cried the day you left us
We gathered round your grave to grieve
Wish I could see the angels' faces

When they hear your sweet voice sing

So go rest high on that mountain
Son, your work on earth is done
Go to Heaven a shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son

So go rest high on that mountain
Son, your work on earth is done
Go to Heaven a shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son

Go to Heaven a shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son
